In a single table tournament where about 80 total hands were played, I saw quads 3 times! Can that be a random occurance or is the software somehow rigged for more/quicker action?
That's pretty good considering that I've played 10s of thousands of hands at that site and have had quads maybe 2-3 times.
I've also played live when 2 of my FIRST five hands dealt were AA.
I think the events are random.
Party does not benefit from more action except in some obscure ways thought of by conspiracy theorists, losing players, and folks generally more cycnical than most.
Slim-
How would Party benefit from more/quicker action in tournies? They have already collected your fees and they virtually unlimited server space to start a new one-table tourney so there is little need to finish early.

I agree, but they would want you to finish your tourney faster so you can join a new one.
However, the reason why you see so many crazy hands is that you see so many people playing so many pots that odds are someone will hit a big hand. As for hitting quads, i play a TON and rarely see quads. But with millions of hands played at party poker you are bound to see some statistical anamolies every so often.
I had quad K's, A's, & K's again at Paradise a few days ago, as well as a straight flush. However, I see no reason at all why a site would have anything besides random deals -- I mean, come on! Some days you just see the crazy good hands.
